Rob DeMasi

Founder & President

Rob DeMasi battled misdiagnoses for four years before reaching a diagnosis of myasthenia gravis (MG). Myasthenia gravis is an autoimmune neuromuscular disease which causes fluctuating muscle weakness and fatigue throughout the body. After enduring a difficult journey leading to a definitive diagnosis, and enduring the hardships associated with living with muscle disease, he founded the Muscle Movement Foundation in 2012.

Understanding muscle disease from a first person perspective, Mr. DeMasi travels the country delivering the MMF message in efforts to assist his fellow Muscle Champions in need.

In 2016, Wilmington University Magazine published Rob DeMasi's story and inspiration in forming the Muscle Movement Foundation. To view the story click the link below!
