MUSCLE MOVEMENT FDN. JOINS DO MORE 24 DELAWARE

HOCKESSIN, DE - As proud Delawareans, we are thrilled to share the we will be participating in a monumental statewide campaign this March 4th-5th.

With fewer foundations, smaller grants and formerly localized investments now leaving the state, the impact of our supporters is more important than ever in ensuring families who are affected by neuromuscular diseases in the First State receive adequate support.

Can you imagine what life would be like for our MMF Muscle Champions, and families in need, if the work we do stopped tomorrow? The muscle disease community that we care about relies on MMF and our supporters to help provide life-changing accommodations. Through advocacy, support groups and family assistance, MMF is enhancing the lives of Delawareans who are affected by ALS, muscular dystrophy, and additional forms of neuromuscular diseases.

And it’s not just our work that makes Delaware a great place to call home. Even in our small state, there are more than 5,000 nonprofits working each day to provide education, culture, health care, shelter, and quality environment and more.

But the future of the work we do is not all assured.

We must do more! We must work together to ensure the continuation of the critical services that make Delaware safe, special and sustainable for future generations. As such, we are teaming together with amazing nonprofits for 24 hours of awareness and support.
