ROB DEMASI
After four long years of misdiagnoses, Rob was properly diagnosed with myasthenia gravis (MG) in 2009. Rob immediately began his involvement in the nonprofit sector as a motivational speaker and fundraiser for multiple 501(c)(3) organizations who serve the neuromuscular disease community. He set his vision on the development of a 501(c)(3) organization that would provide individuals who are living with muscle disease immediate support while they remain hopeful for a cure. In 2012, he founded the MMF to provide accommodations to families so they have the best chance to overcome the effects of disease. His work led him to further his education, specializing in organizational leadership and the nonprofit sector. Rob holds a Master of Science in Management (MSM) degree with a Concentration in Nonprofit Management from Wilmington University. He also has earned a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management and BS in Behavioral Science. Rob is a renowned speaker and travels the country to spread the MMF Message in honor of his fellow MMF “Muscle Champions”! He has been recognized for his diverse work including being selected as a Delaware Business Times 40 Under 40 Award Winner.
